Description

Ced 106c is an interstellar matter that is part of the Vela Supernova Remnant, which was formed about 11,000 years ago by a Type II Supernova. It has an apparant magnitude of 6.66 and is about 27x21 arcminutes.

This was captured with a RedCat 71 with ASI 2600MM Pro CMOS Camera on a ZWO AM5 mount using an ASI Air Plus Air a few nights ago.

The great thing about the ZWO ASI Redcat setup is that I can carry the entire rig all out to the yard and have it level and polar aligned to less than 30 arcseconds in about 10 minutes and it will run happily with very little fuss. No Back Strain! The ASI AIR app is ok but not a flexible as Sequence Generator  when it comes to making changes on the fly while a sequence runs and it really needs a app controlled rotator  so hopefully ZWO will have something to cover that later this year.
